Technology Investment is a New Vehicle for Economic Development for Emerging Markets

I have immersed myself in the heart of the technology industry, Silicon Valley, for more than a decade. I have never seen it more clearly until we are about to put COVID behind us that technology investment is the vehicle for economic development. In fact, this will be more true and important for emerging markets than developed countries.

The fact that about 50% of companies listed in the U.S. stock market was once backed by venture capital (VC) and these companies represent about 60% of the market value, the power and impact of the venture capital industry continues to grow. Especially after the COVID, it will rise at a rapid pace.
